Renault 4TL on charity challenge

My husband has resurrected our old Renault 4TL from the garden and we're now embarking on a 3500km endurance charity challenge - we're supporting 3 amazing charities for disabled children (in memory of our granddaughter) and Parkinson's. Now all we need is sponsors ... and for René le Renault to make the trip - not looking forward to the Pyrénées tomorrow especially with the noise from the front end.... hope it's nothing serious! 500km today - so far so good! Well earned rest after all those mountains - Pyrénées now successfully negotiated religiously sticking to single track roads where possible! 1st / 2nd and 3rd gear all got a hammering today and René only saw 4th gear really late in the afternoon. Brake drums really took a pounding but he never faded and got us safely down beyond Pamplona. Very exciting and a few missed heart beats particularly at the hairpins! More of the same tomorrow!
