Renault 8 rims fit Renault 4?

Says theses are for a 12 and 17

they do look a tad to large on the PCD thou

R8 wheels will not fit the R4s.

R12 rims are 13" but have a different PCD. They are also too wide - standard R12 tyres are 175 wide. I've found that 165/70 tyres scrape and bend the edges of the wheel arches both front and rear unless you have the pre-67 narrower-track rear arms.

I have fergat rims from an r6, fitted with 145 tires... when I turn all the steering wheel left I hear something scraping... I think the wheel touches the exhaust... Is it possible (and common)?

Errata corrige: the rim seems to scrape the antiroll bar and its silent-block... So it turns out the bar is not well centered, as it seems...
