Replacement Chassis

My 4’s chassis is in a very poor state and in my view it’s worthy of a replacement as I bought her as a long term project and not to sell on. Guessing that finding a decent second hand chassis for a 1970 car isn’t going to be an easy task so I’m researching the new options. Does anyone have any experience of the suitability of the one currently available?

Better hurry up with ordering a new chassis from France, Germany or the Netherlands. They all come from the same factory. So its just a matter of getting the cheapest one with regards to shipping

After Brexit it might be difficult.
Chances of getting a good used one are very slim.

Thanks, I was told that the new chassis wouldn’t be compatible but can’t see any reason why not. Does anyone have any idea on this? Julian

Thanks Andy, that’s very helpful. So essentially I have to change the front torsion bars to those from a later vehicle. Hopefully those wouldn’t be too difficult to source. Julian
