Ride height?

So, what did we do wrong?? The body shell is about 4 inches too high. After sorting out the chassis and replacing things. Etc
We think it might be this bar in the wrong place?? Should it be infrint where the nut is or behi d whete we put it?
Any ideas greatfully received. It's like the susoension is as high as it could go! And step up into a renault 4, strange. Can't work put what's wrong.
Help...

The car looks like its been jacked. Much to pur sons pkeasure. We don't know why

The tie rod is OK, it does not affect ride height anyway. Did you remove one or both torsion bars?

?? Would putting it back together on axle stands cause the priblem, as it wasn't under weight pressure?

Have you tried rolling the car forwards and backwards again? That will reduce the height by 2 inches after it's been jacked up.

Hi.
I remember back in the Day changing clutches on my R5s.
The front always looked too high after the cars touched the ground, but settled within a short space of time.
(Same torsion bar set up).
Cheers.
