Rocker cover gasket

Having removed rocker cover & reset valve clearances, (huge amount of stuff to move out of the way) trying to refit cover with new gasket. How do any of you stick the gasket to the cover? All surfaces have neen cleaned.

Hi

You can apply some grease to the recessed lip of the rocker cover, slot the gasket in and you should be able to defy gravity and lower the rocker cover back onto the cylinder head without the gasket dropping back out again.

I've always used aerosol spray glue
