Sad News; Some of you may have noticed my dog as my Avatar

This Afternoon I had to have her put to sleep,

Man I am gutted she was only 11 and a month ago I found some lumps on her legs so took her to the vets, they took a lymph gland out and had it diagnosed, it came back with Lymphoma two weeks ago

She went down hill so fast even the vet was shocked to see her today, so we put her out of her pain, I know it was for the best but I'm so sad!

Here's to Meg and all of our pets without whom our lives would be less happy!

Sorry to hear that. I know I'd be gutted if we lost the cat and she's not even allowed in the house (for very long). Dogs are very much more a part of the family and every day life.

Very sad to hear your news. We just had to put our whippet down, who was also only 11. You many notice in my avatar a spaniel called Rufus, he's meant to be a working dog but has ideas of his own.

Sorry to hear about your whippet, beagle, another breed of dog that I love, but haven't got around my wife yet!

As for working Rufus, what sort of work is he meant to be trained for?

Yes whippets are great, he was our 4th. Rufus is meant to be my cousin's gun dog but he's a total liability so he's more of a pet. Last month we got a call from the village shop to say Rufus had been caught shoplifting sausages. The shop is half a mile away!
