shock absorbers

Hi all - I'm going on a trip to Marocco with my r4 f4 next March and most of the trip will be off-road. I have been looking to upgrade the shock absorbers - at the moment I'm looking at Record Maxigas but would welcome other (not to expensive) suggestions?????

If you can get Delphi DeCarbon Performance shock absorbers for a decent price, they are good. I got a set from ebay.fr, there are some old posts here about them if you do a search.
