Solex carburettor

What I don't know is which one I've got. A look in the workshop maual suggests it's a Solex 32 EISA-4 but I don't know which specific model beyond that, nor if it matters. I'd like to know whether or not I can get the part for this carburettor before taking it apart for a clean and health check. I have taken the following pictures to hopefully aid in identification. There is no tag and while I can find numbers stamped on the casing none of them have helped me pin down which model this is.

Hi,
That looks like a Solex EISA carburettor
It's quite similar to the Solex SEIA carburettors I'm running on both my R4.
If you look it up in Google under Solex EISA you'll have no trouble finding replacement parts. Like a membrane for the acceleration pump and new paper seals. Complete sets are available to. Except for the jets but those you might be able to replace with delorto jets.

On the pictures the cable stopper for the choke cable looks somewhat mangled.
I do have a SEIA in the closet for spares I can send a replacement if you like.

Regards Robert

Thank you, Robert, that's very helpful.

I didn't know that component was mangled, I'm totally unfamiliar with this carburettor so just assumed it was supposed to be like that. Might explain why the choke was quite stiff to operate. I'd be happy to rehome a spare to make it better, if you can send me a message with payment details, etc. I'd appreciate that.

As you can see the carburetor is quite similar to yours. That shiny piece is how the choke cable stopper should look.IMG_1805.JPGIMG_1806.JPGIMG_1807.JPGIMG_1808.JPG
