i have seen one like this when we were in wales on holiday....
very cute

A 3 way fridge runs on gas or mains or 12v.....expensive to buy....

3 way fridges are fitted to most caravans / camping cars, 12v for when you are travelling, mains or gas for when you are parked. On 12v they will flatten a car battery very quickly unless the engine is running.
As an aside gas fridges are much more energy efficient than electric ones.

We are extremely tempted, Paul&Pat. The only snag is that we don't have offroad parking but a little 'lay by' alongside the house. Could you tell me approximately how long and how tall the caravan is?

Hi Bluebell, we find these for a friend in the UK who sells them there, this one came along a bit quickly after the last one, so we thought he may not buy it, but we have actually had an e mail from him at lunch time saying that the last one has been sold, and therefore he will take this one next week!
However as they say about buses, no doubt another will be along soon, so we will let you know if and when we have another. PM me if you're interested.
I have just been out with the tape, its 4 metres long from the tip of the towbar to the back, about 1.7 m wide and under 1.95m high, so there are no tolls to pay on the peages. Because its under 500kg it does not require a carte grise in France, neither does it require its own insurance.
The fridge does burn gas, only a tiny flame, I think it might be called the 'peltier principle' although I may be confusing it with something else!

Dear Paulandpat
I too would also be very interested in such a cuty to tow behind my van. Do let me know if any more become available. Thankyou Tim
