This van was owned by a British man who lived in Spain. When he returned to England last year he drove it back to London.
I bought it for £2200.
I have since registered it over here. It has MOT until 9th August 2013 and is taxed to 30th November 2013
The thing is that I wasn't sure if it was handling correctly and so I took it in to Renospeed in London and he thought that it might have hit a rock or something at some point. His exact words were that it would 'never be right' and that kind of took the shine off it for me. It definately needs new tyres and the wheels are not too brilliant. I'm not very practical and so it is way beyond me to work on it. Perhaps an enthusiast would do better.
That said, the previous owner seemed genuinely unaware of any issues and really loved it. I've been driving it and it seems to be reliable, if not a little quirky. I'm selling because it is not the perfect Renault 4 I was looking for.
It's been garaged and is available to view in Leicester.
