starting problems

my mam just got a 02 reg scenic 1.4 16v, its just started to not want to start it spins but wont fire it doesnt do it all the time but she thinks its getting worse any help please

more likely a TDC sensor. Renault have modified the loom as well. If you leave your full reg number ,i will check price for you..
