Hi All
I have a Renault leather bound steering wheel which I have had for quite some time now. I'm not too sure where I got it from! It has a part number on it: 7700765285. I have looked up the part number which states it's for an Espace Turbo Diesel. I have never owned an Espace! I am wondering if this is correct, it might well have been unique to the Espace Turbo Diesel. I would have thought Renault would have fitted the same steering wheel to several models to save on manufacturing costs. Any thoughts would be greatly received.
Interestingly, on close inspection the splined section is the same length and diameter as that of the R4GTL steering wheel. However, the splined section is set back further on the steering wheel than on the R4GTL steering wheel. Potentially, with a bit of fettling, it might just fit on a R4GTL. The metal lip on the back would have to come off first before offering it up. Any tips would be greatly received. Please see pics attached.
