SU carb(s)

In scrolling through old threads I have seen reference to use of SU carbs.
Has anyone done a successful conversion and are details available please?

Your lucky to have the carb you've got mixed opinions on Su carbs guess you need right needle to suit engine rolling road or guesswork

Understand 'tuning' with SU's.
Just wondered if anyone had done a full successful conversion.
