Switch for GTL radiator fan

Just a quick question for those of you who've fitted a cabin/dashboard switch for the radiator fan. What gauge wire/fuse amperage would you suggest?

approx cable o/d 3.3mm. conductor size 28/0.30 capacity 17.5 Amp is fine all cable can be bought from AES auto electrical supplies phone and ask for there catalogue (01584 819552) its got everything you will need
and they are very helpful 10 or 15 A fuse will be OK

A 1,5 mm2 wire would be sufficient for the 12 volt radiator fan as it is already fused at 8 amps (fuse nr. 4).

For fans installation I use always a relay. Close the relay ground on dashboard switch and on the temperature sensor
