A very interesting car and story...

Hey Rich, you might be a little interested in this...............

Back in 92 my mates dad finished building this (full on one off custom built jobby) and as soon as I passed my test he chucked us the keys and let us use it as we saw fit.....many many miles later after we'd torn around the countryin it he stored it up and left it for nearly twenty years.

He put it back on the road recently with a Gordini engine in it :wink:

Those were the days!!!

When it used to rain we had to stop and put up a fishing brolley and wait for it to stop :lol: :lol:

Hi Rich, when you say local VW forum, is that local to you? and will we be seeing this little beauty on this forum again do you think? It seems doing a Gordini conversion is the future, the future is Blue, to paraphrase a mobile phone add.

Hi Brian the forum is local to me but I think the car if from up north, I've asked Paul, will let you know what he says
