Please can someone give me the inlet and outlet clearances for my 1.1 gtl.

Also does someone have a spare spring clip that holds in the head light bulb?One of mine pinged off and must have entered a temporal vortex or something because it vanished in a blink of an eye!

valve clearances

hi
always used 6 thou inlet, 8 thou exhaust , engine cold ,better slightly noisy than tight as unleaded fuel is not so kind on valve seats means gaps dissapear these days burning out valves and causing poor running etc

more metric minded people will prob use .015 and .020 mm

headlamp retainers are not all the same, 2 different ones (on round 410 bulbs)
didnt seem to fit when i tried wrong one recently ,could just of been me

Mindful that there may be 2 types and that the type I've found looks shorter and squarer than yours with the fixings only 1mm from the headlamp bulb I might be better having a check around the cars at the weekend when I've got some light.

Do those headlamps have a manufacturer written on them?

thought they were all made by cibie, but clip i was looking for other week were def squarer ish prob made different year (or made in spain!!)
