Does anyone remember the advert someone had on ebay for new R4 TL gearboxes.
Synchro is away on 3rd on mine and I thought at the price that person was looking for a new box, it would be cheaper to replace it.
If anyone has a contact for the person or had bought one, please let me know the details.

Great, I phoned him right now.
Yes he still has them.
Min of 10, max of 20 still available.
Malcolm if you read this, he said if anyone was taking a few- £75 each.
I have just bought one at £125 and I have to arrange carriage.
He said that he has about 200 gearboxes for a particular Renault where the gear box is under the engine as in the Mini. From the 1970's. I don't know what car that is, but perhaps someone knows. Anyway they are about £50.
All brand new.

Not sure by the way of £75 for a few as he said- he wouldn't reduce the price of £125 for two.
Still with £60 for delivery=£185- you can barely buy a starter motor for that- a modern that is, not an R4.
