Hi everyone,
Today started with a refreshing straight forward job which makes a nice change.
Remove seats and fit the hand brake, very pleased to find all holes present and it's just a swop job.
Redundant pattern plate as all fits straight in.
Then I found something all R4 owners dread MOTHS HAVE EATEN PART OF MY FLOOR !!!!!!
,
Out with the welder, later.
I then pulled the engine and gear box out.
Easiest engine and box that I have ever pulled out, thx to the engine crane.
Pascal's looking a bit sad at the moment but better days will come.
I am off on holiday next week, so don't think that I have deserted you all.
Part of the holiday is a day at Beaulieu car boot.
I am so inexperienced with R4's that I would not recognise a rare R4 widget if it bit me but I will enjoy trying (plus I probable have enough parts to be going on with anyway)
Cheers guys, Dave
