Hi everyone
I have a 1994 Twingo (model CO63, Cléon engine 1239cc) - so not quite a R4 but not a million miles away.
Two questions!
1. My friendly mechanic has advised that new front brake caliper sliders would be a good idea. Given the rarity of the Twingo in the UK the deal with the mechanic is that I find the parts and he fits them. Am I right in thinking that the brakes are Bendix (the caliper is stamped 350519 - see photo) and so I need something like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284154715695
2. The bottom radiator hose has been nicked at some stage and so needs to be replaced. At some stage prior to my ownership the coolant has been flushed and replaced with yellow (type D), but the manual of course recommends the old Renault Glaceol type C. The mechanic thinks it would be better to flush and then to return to type C. Does anyone have any suggestions for what might be the best current equivalent to what Renault recommend?
Any advice welcome! Many thanks.
