Hello everyone. This is Pepe de la Parte and I live in Cobeña, a village close to Madrid-Spain. I was searching for some info about dwell angle of Renault 4 and I found your nice webpage and forum by chance.
I own a white Renault 4 (dated 1981) since 2001. I also own some other classic cars, but I would say that my Renault 4 is actually a workaholic. Last year I had to work in Málaga so I had to travel from Madrid to Málaga every week. There is a high speed train between Madrid and Málaga that conects both cities in 2 hours 30 minutes. I used to take the train to go to Málaga, but once in Málaga my car was my nice Renault 4.
In Spain, the Renault 4 is known as Four Cans. Last week I drove my Four Cans home from Málaga (around km 600 / miles 375) . There is no need to say that I had no any problem during the trip, but contact points needed to be replaced. I had no info about dwell angle and fortunately I have found it in your webpage. Thanks.
