Hi there .
I am really struggling for information on my 1972 R4s fasa . The manual I have is almost useless and most info I get doesn't relate to my car . I am just going off my years of experience with motors but like most people I hate the thought of completing a job just to find it needs to be done again .
Ignition timing using the flywheel marks should be easy but NO my car seems to only have one marking on the bellhousing and one on the flywheel how can I adjust the tappets and ignition if I am not sure or just guessing . years ago of course it would be stick a screwdriver down the plug hole and feel for the piston rising . Bearing in mind my cars engine rotates anti clockwise as you look from the front of the car .
Plus I don't seem to be able to buy a work shop manual for it in English and the one I down loaded is not for this motor .
I know I will get there in the end but lack of info is frustrating .
Can anyone help with the timing mark situation please .
