warning light

hi my girlfriend has a warning light coming on now and again on her scenic and was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this, It can be best described as a wiggly line inside a box. Anyone???????

It's an engine management system fault that unfortunately cannot be read from any E-OBD tester, only with Renault diagnostic equipment. Otherwise the "engine" symbol would be lit.

On a similar vein....

I had an ignition coil go on my 02 Scenic the other day. Before I could replace it, I had a warning light come on (engine symbol without any lines etc) on the left hand side of the dash display.
Now that I've replaced the coil, it's still on. Any ideas (other than being ripped off by local dealer....he's just been prosecuted for charging for repairs not actually carried out!) on how to switch this off?

Problem Solved!

After approx 2 days / 30 miles, the light went out itself!
