Water leaks

I know this is probably a silly question but.......

Fifi leaks water in when it rains on both sides at the front, one seems to be the bottom edge of where the pedal box is and the other from an internal seam on the offside about 2 inches above the wing mounting bolt on the iinner wing (hope that makes sense). I have tried to source the point where the water comes in as I would like to install some insulation and possibly carpets to quieten the old girl down a bit. Anybody had a similar problem and perhaps more importantly, found a cure.

aving scrolled on my bottom I am now au fait wiz ze leakings of my petite rust bucket and ze windscreen rubbaire seems to be ze norty item. I forsee some stickiness to ma fingaires and lots of ze sealant everywhere, mon dieu, quel catastrophe, mais c'est la vie

Didn't realise they were repeating 'Allo Allo' on ITV3!
