Where is the washer switch?

Where is the windscreen washer switch normally located on a GTL? Do you have a photo?

Mine is a little blue rocker switch mounted in the clock housing on the passenger side, but I'm pretty sure that's not standard

Edit: Saw a nice hazy blue F6 driving by in Bath today, not anyone I recognised though.

A switch! That's rather hi-tech! We have a foot pump for pumping water from the washer tank to the jets (it's a 1990 Slovenian-built GTL).

Now here is an answer which actually gives you the information you require : on the GTL the windscreen washer, assuming it is electric, is operated by the right-hand stalk (which also operates the wipers). Pull it towards you and the pump should (!) operate.

Foot-operated rubber bulbs or thumb-operated pumps are for the lower-spec (L, TL) models. The foot one was only available on Continental (not UK) models, the thumb model for early manufacture cars and the UK.

Thanks all, your responses were both useful and amusing :)
I guess I need to investigate why the previous owner replaced the stalk switch... perhaps the original was broken.

I have a GTL and it has a footpump, I assume the electric thing was an option, rather than the standard and not the other way around dedicting the footpump being the low-spec standard.

But my wiper's stalk has the right contacts to let an after market pump operate? DO you have a scheme?
I have a 1991 base model r4...

I've just looked at the back of my stalk switch, it has five wires but only four are connected to pins on the switch. I suppose a switch with the extra 'pull' action would connect the fifth wire too.

I'm not too sure what the function of each of the five wires is though; since the switch only has two positions three wires ought to suffice... so what is the fourth?...
