Where to find Haynes manual

Hello everyone, I have seen that the Haynes manual for the R4 is sometimes recommended here, I have read that it could be found on the internet, but I have not been successful. Could someone provide me with a link?

View media item 2024The later version (up to 1986, and includes the 1108cc GTL version) seems to be only available as a paperback.

The earlier version (up to 1979 and only covers the 747cc and 845cc models) is in hardback.

As mentioned above, the if you have a GTL (1108cc engine) then the later version is better.

The ISBNs are:

1 85010 299 6 (later version up to 1986)
0 85696 509 X (earlier version up to 1979)

The print quality is similar in both versions: not brilliant but acceptable. See the attached photo, which shows the same page in the new version (left, whiter paper) and old version (right, more yellow paper). The exact editions are 1981 for the earlier book and 1987 for the later one.

It's not a scan of the whole book. Perhaps that is what you are looking for? If so, I can't help there I'm afraid.

Sorry about that, I can see the images OK, but there were set as 'private' so only I could see them!

I've changed the permission to 'Members only' so hopefully you should be able to see them now. Please let me know if you still can't see them.
