which points on an 850?

my so-called expert Renault dealer has now sent me 3 sets of points: all are wrong

first was a 7701402250
then a 7701402249
then a 0854137800 (looks same as 249, but without the condenser)

the cars an 850 TL 1967 LHD, 6volt
distributor is Ducellier A46 4064 K7C

the points i need have a backplate which is shaped around the centre spindle, forming a c shape

anyone any clue of part no. (your Lottery numbers not accepted)....ade

not sure if it's any help but there are a couple of sets on ebay, i've bought some from them before and they fitted ebay no 170868863737 ( millersgarages ) £7.00 or there's another set no 110916734620 £3.70 maybe worth a look.

0854725600 has a C-shaped backplate and belonged to 850cc TLs, I think it might be the one you need. Try asking mr-reno-139 if he still has any of these.
