Wouldn't it be better to contact him directly? The forum format is more for discussing things with anyone who is prepared to answer. Though it does have a private message system which is fantastic for one to one discussion with a particular member. This has the feel of a private conversation.

This business isn't at all private and I thought the world would be interested in Captain Van Rouges website design capabilities but maybe I am wrong?

Do post a link to the site once it's up and running. Just at the moment I see a holding page.

Until then all the world has to go on is a picture of a boat. Only with prior knowledge might they figure out what you are on about.
