I've just started work on bring my Dad's Renault 4 back from the dead, its been sitting for around 6 years but is in amazing condition really bone dry inside the engine bay and cabin. but I'm sure there lots of bits to fix and replace. Help would be great

Welcome to the forum. Do post photos of the restoration / car etc. It's always good to see what others are up to. Any troubles do ask. Parts are still reasonable easy despite the lack of 4s in the UK these days - we've found a friendly Renault dealer in Lifestyle Renault, and a friendly motor factor in entwistlecymru.

Hello! I drive every day a R4 TL, 1980 model year.
These are some photos.

Good to see you on Saturday. Well worth getting someone around to look at the chassis before spending too much money - can't really tell from the photos, but I don't like the look of the seam at the front of the floor pan - has the look of the edge of a huge welded patch with might need sorting out properly. Worth assessing what other areas might need work as a bad chassis can be a bit time consuming.
