.. But I had reason to pop into my local Vodaphone shop in Kensinghton High Street today to get my free upgrade phone for Christmas and guess what one of the sales assistants was looking at..........

Cool - does he have a R4? Might be one of us! Notice he's not joined up yet though. Is he looking for a R4? In summary why would anyone in a vodaphone shop be on here? Can't just be for all the refreshing common sense surely.

Nope its Vofafone they don't do common sense. They told me at my last upgrade that I didn't spend that much with them so they wouldn't do me a good deal.

I said ok fine, so that'll not only be me, my wife four daughters and their boyfriends that I pay for the privilege of the friends and family deal that will all leave you then?

I reckon between us we spend nearly £350 a month!

And thats all I can say about the Victoria Shop - Their computer to GCHQ is down 90% of the time, they have 60 dummy phones on show but only 3 in stock and generally 40 customers waiting to be dealt with by 2 sales assistants!!

Now you can see why I scooted off down the drag to High Street Kensington!!

Maybe we should all chip in and have the Cricket team in shirts with a big picture of Clementine on the back. I'm also thinking of starting a Clementine for Prime Minister campaign. She could be a new symbol for Britain!

PS - is the colour balance right on your monitor? Photos are looking a bit iffy.

And talking of Ambassadors...Imagin the doorman announcing...Ambassador Pepper and Mrs Ambassador Pepper - What a fab title?

Getting there with the photos, maybe still a little work needed to synchronise the frequency so those photos taken in France work on UK forums.

Can't think of any better ambassadors. Should make them happy when we turn up in their cars.
