if you don't find one in uk I have a 1100cc motor from a 1984 car it turns ok but haven't tried starting it, c/w starter, carb & alternator, will be in uk [exeter] in june and can bring it over.

Hi thanks for time seems I need an 850 as the car is of 68 vintage.bigger engines will require a lot of mods to make fit ie disc brakes etc if you can sniff out an 850...750.give me a shout ,Alan(tattybols)

Mine is an 1100 and I have drums all round.. No issue.

But I understand what you mean. There are a few on le bon coin at the moment.

I am in the middle of a body off 2cv resto at the moment,so maybe I am being a bit previous but will be in Monmorillon area in a couple of months got a roof to repair so can collect an engine on travels,to many projects, enclose couple of pics, one of trafic for bobble.best tattybols

You really do have a beautiful garage!
Even supplied with a comfortable chair to sit down and smoke a good pipe at the end of the work!

I am very lucky to have a comfortable workshop, just that every time I open the door I do not see the chaos ,only when I see a picture I get a bit of shock, still its my mess.I gave up the smokes a while ago but I do have a pipe just can't find it.Best AL

Looks like a very comfortable workshop everything in it's place by the look of it, lol, mind you mine's a bit like that at the moment,
My wife's has a yearning to try a 2cv but i'm not sure mmmmm we'll see, here's a picture of our camper, it's old but reliable
and does the job, we'er off to Shetland and Orkney in July/August this year

I've nothing against the 2cv as i've never had one (yet ?) but who know's

My 2cv mentor has about 25 of the beasts loves my raid R4. but he has a hang up when its water cooled even thought about putting a 2cv motor in a R4.
