334 gearbox synchromesh rings

Does anyone know if it is possible to get hold of 1st and 2nd gear synchro rings for the 334-04 four speed box in my R4? If so where from?

I didn't think 1st gear had synchro. Mine doesn't seem to while my 2nd gear feels like it used to have synchro.

Hi Andy, looking at the exploded diagram of the 334 gearbox internals the synchro rings all appear to have the same part number 042818600. Does this make sense that they should be identical. Any comments welcome.

2,3 and 4 are identical. I was unable to get 1st when I did mine - you would probably need 06 07 352 900 as well.

More to add to this- I have to do something about the 4th speed synchro on my 334 box. The synchro spring, part number 0555474700, has broken- probably some time ago judging by the lack of effective synchro going down from 4th to third- and a piece has now found its way to the front magnetic drain plug. Which is a good thing I suppose, being some sort of a smoking gun.
The only thing is, there doesn't seem to be a source of spares anywhere. It seems crazy given the springs seem to ave a reputation for breaking.

Does anyone have a used one they can sell? Then I can prepare a spring drawing and get a batch made....

Alternately I will be prowling around La Belle France in a couple of months from now, are there any known sorcieres de le boite that I can contact when there?
