Its time to face up to the fact that, based on the current rate of sorting out my projects, this one won't get a look-in till probably petrol runs out.
Its a 1984 GTL 1100 in metallic green, had 6 owners, registration valued at 400 pounds, bought 3 years ago as a non-runner, always been covered well.
I've done quite a bit of preparation, cutting out rusty metal on the body, unfortunately i didn't get around to replacing with sound metal. Its complete apart from headlining and rear bumper. There is rust underneath: rear offside damper mounting on chassis has hole nearby, also hole at front. Body has rust at top of front inner arches, offside rear quarter (inc bottom of window), corners of tailgate opening, tailgate itself etc.

The best thing about the car is the lack of dents : bonnet, roof, nearside rear quarter and most doors are without any dents or rust. I'm not giving it away, as i believe it is a good project.
I also have 2 good dark blue front doors plus tailgate (no perforated rust at base) and , in red, 3 good doors plus tailgate (one small rust hole, otherwise very good), also new n/s wing and o/s rear upper quarter (the panel with the window aperture).
