Citroen diesel alert!

I wish the Citroen C4 air filter was as easy to replace as the 4's. It took me about an hour yesterday and involves moving trim, hoses, clips, pipes and three long awkward screws.

What a faff! I don't know why Citroen put the air filter underneath the windscreen (especially when there's room further forward). It looks pretty dirty too.

Air filter

If you remove the same pipes but then pull up the whole filter it comes off 2 studs and you can remove it from the car, this makes fitting the filter and undoing the screws a lot easier, I found out after struggling like you

Thanks! I will try that next time - I think Haynes recommends 2 years for that engine (in the C5 manual - there isn't a C4 Haynes).

Have you got a C4 too?
