Cornish4 brought Marigold in for fluid changes this morning.
Notice how i got him to do it even though its my workshop..

Would be nice to have a friend like you near my house... My mechinic is very kind, but do not let me work with hime and learn... I have two friends whose fathers are retired mechanics, but one (who was a renault mechanic, too) does not want to work on my car, the other is quite helpful and is teaching me something, but do not like renault4s... And only for minor works...
But I do my oil change even in my box, crawling under the car and covering myself with dirt and sawdust...

That's the oil and filter changed, and while I was at it I changed the gear-box oil too. Many thanks to Andrew for the use of his garage, as I'm also used to lying on my back under the car, so this was a luxury using a car-lift. After Marigold had been fettled, we fitted the back-axle back on Andrews' pick-up. The restoration of this very rare vehicle is coming on well. How about some info about it in the projects section Andrew :smile:

Thanks for that Brian...just started it in the projects page...
by the way people...thats not rust on the chassias leg...its copaslip to ease the chassias into place as it was tight as hell

oh yeah Brian...notice the bump stops and rear anti roll bar...have you got them on yours...

Yes my bump-stops are ok, but rear anti-roll bar? no I haven't got one of those, do you think I need one?:smile:
