Coughing and sluttering

The little cars been going very well and covered nearly 8000 miles now since Thenay without any problems until yesterday when it started coughing and spluttering, always started without any problem and ran ok but then going uphill started to splutter then ran ok when on level ground again so got back eventually and started checking fuel and fuel lines as i did'nt think it was electrical and found this :eek:
You probably remember that my little car had been standing for six years before it's mammoth trip to Thenay but obviously it had over the miles collected the rust and rubbish form the fuel tank anyway with a new one fitted runs like a dream again

We should all probably check our fuel filters more often, my recent breakdown at the classic motor show was also caused by a build-up of crud.
