Do I need 2 or 4 winter tyres in Germany?

HI, always use winter tyres here in France. All four corners!! You can slip in any direction!

Yes Ive decided to put 4 snow tyres on all 4 and go from there.

thats not the problem im having now though. Its renewing my French insurance.

What a nightmare.

French Car insurance:BEWARE

Paid €350 the car insurance people Assurepeople. 8 days later they decided that they would not insure my car.
Then they reimbursed me my money LESS €100.

Tyres:

Bought 4 snow tyres for the journey in January to Austria. Uniroyal Ms plus 6. £210

Almost there now. Just need to find two rims that match mine.

Anyone got two rims out there? without the thread in the middle and the more solid looking rims with slits on the edges not holes?

And im looking for one of those little brackets that sits around the exhist manifiold that hooks upto a tube into the air filter.?
