The Parade starts at around 08.00 hrs with breakfast for the entrants, This is followed by two treasure hunts, (long one and short one.) This ends up with photo's being taken in the Square by the well. After there is the prize draw with prizes for all entrants, followed by more eating and drinking, (This is France after all)Spectators are free, entrants are 15€ and children between 8-12 years are 8€. Hi VW powered we're in La Vendee, near Fontenay Le Comte, t'other side of Niort to you if I reckon correctly. My wifes over there at the moment and I'm off tomorrow for 2 weeks of relaxation and recuperation from work. I don't know what the good ladies got planned but if you pm me your contact details then I'll get in touch when I'm over there and had a discussion with her. We already have half an invitation from the kind Mr Stanbury to sample his Mareuil Rouge which sounds rather tempting!

Oh and as for mentioning an Fiat Ritmo Abarth 125Tc thats made me very jealous indeed! I am an eighties child after all and they and Alfa Suds were my favourite cars when I was growing up.

im 20 minites to angouleme so whatever the distance is from there to yours :)

if I reckon correctly. My wifes over there at the moment

good beer huh

As for Fiat spent 1.5hours driving to see it 3 hours trying to find house as owner wasnt very helpful or wanting to text his address to make sure, even got a french friend to call up, but could we find it no... so drove 1.5hours home again..gutted...

maybe the cabriolet but alot can happen in a month  i'll pm my number :) i'm a mid 70's child...still a child now :D

Thats a nuisance about the Fiat!!!!

Perhaps it'll work out later on though?

I agree about the child bit, I reckon its along the lines of we never grow out of playing with toys, they just get larger and rather more expensive!
