importing car from EUROPE

Hello has anyone imported a car from Europe? mainly Spain or Netherlands, what are the costs involved, so many nice 4s overseas but not sure costs of getting them bsck, advice very much appriciated

I have a late 70's early 80 's Chassis with UK V5 for sale.
It needs light welding to floors but the rear suspension mounts are sound.

The body is off, so you have a really good inspection of the chassis.
The body is NOT for sale.

Gary Dicks of 2cv Imports can sort out the transportation and the paperwork for you, or either if you don't need both. (He started with 2cvs but has imported all sorts of cars & vans, including a few R4s, mainly from France and Spain).
I used to do it all myself when it was easy, (a 2cv van, a Dyane, an Ami and a Traction Avant) but since Brexit, Gary has done it for me.
