TINTIN et ALL

In the photo below, one of TINTIN's chums is lucky enough to be driving the car of our dreams!!

What is her name?

A cd to the first person to get it correct...

..No its not Bianca Castafiore..

She is in fact the big fat blond lady with the fab voice - The Opera Singer

So, as none of you got the answer, I am sure you all be delighted to know that it is in fact.... Ellen McArthur, my very good friend and round the corner yachts person..

But as Greeney and Bluebell have been on the receiving end of a CD already, I am going to award the prize to you Forgonette Chris - so an address please - You could now be part of the very interesting spiders web of French Clementine Contributors or do I mean Carburettors?

Have a good day y'all

Can I protest that under Rule 67C Subsection 92(iv) Paragraph 3 second line all the answers to competitions must be verified by three independent and sane judges. If the question was found to be at all misleading then all, repeat all, active members are entitled to a CD.

..The most famous of all the TINTIN books..

TINTIN goes Round the World in 71 days, 14 hours, 18 minutes and 33 Seconds in a B and Q sponsored Renault 4

..And the best bit..

..Is on page 72 when TINTIN hits an oil tanker in the middle of the Indian Ocean (seen here) and almost sinks without trace but Captain Turbot sticks his finger in the bunghole and after a huge amount of bailing, the Renault 4 continues to float and TINTIN goes on with the rest of the adventure - Its a fab book and very definltely the best...

merci, merci, merci i never win anything.:D

i'll pm the address.

by the way the wife goes away this weekend so i have the whole weekend working on the car so might be asking for a bit of help.

and has anybody done or know of anybody who has converted a "noddy" to run on an electric motor?

..Talking of tankers, Bluebell..

..If you or Chris were ever lucky enough to be carrying an 'oil tanker' round on a roof rack attached to one of our special cars and vans in the not too distant future, I trust you will able to post up some snaps to show the team what huge loads they can carry - hint hint...

..Well..

We had better have a / an (?) European Gravy Train Renault 4 run then and benefit from all your and your wifes hard work on our behalf?

So from us all here on the biggest and best Anglo Saxon Jute and Viking R4 site in the world... a profound thanks from us all and keep up the good but shall I say slightly expensive work!!

And enjoy the CD - and we havent seen your Renault 4 up here in lights yet - the idea of VIP R 4 is amazing!!

Admiral Stanbury, it just so happens that we have found your new commission. We'll pipe you aboard when you have polished up the brass buttons on the uniform. Meanwhile she lies at anchor until your visit.

..Well what can I say..

..Apart from thanks and that...

The next job for Claude VR is to collect all these regrooveable tyres from the home of the European Gravy Train and take them in the back to where they belong...Ms Chelin's place at Cholet - a job only Claude V R can do!!

Malcolm has just wisely suggested that you may have to let the air out first though!!
