Hello and welcome! Good luck in your search for a 4. If you've been to this site before, I expect you've found out what to look for when buying! The Buyer's Guide is very useful and searching the forum should reveal a wealth of knowledge!

Good luck and let us know how you get on!

Morris Minor

My first car was a Morris Minor and I had two others and an Austin A30. This was in my student years. The cars were old (15 years) and tired, so I learnt my mechanical skills on them. The design of them was good, but seriously flawed - a master cylinder in the chassis rail, lever action shockers and a cart spring rear end.
The R4 is such a superior beast in every way and well worth the expense of a set of metric spanners! Not that they need to be used so often!

Cheers,

David
