Michael is in hospital Team

..So I decided to go and see him and I can report that he is recovering well from what can only be described of sever case of CPES (Car Parts Everywhere Shock)

Luckily the hospital in question is a hospital for sick Citroen Traction Avants - It was full of 'patients' in all sorts of troubles - we could only stay for an hour as Doctor John had to do some Friday night house calls to other sick TA's.

If any of you are ever in the Old Kent Road area, you should really call in as well to say hello to Doctor John and all his Patients - it really is an Aladdin's cave and a real eye opener.

Don't. Touch. Anything!

Love it! Proper workshop, organised and catalogued just like they all should be...

Well pour me another pint of sherry and stick a red bobble onto my nose and call me Rudolph

Its just aswell my NAN had made me some lovely crusty rolls, which i slipped into my new TWEED JACKET pockets because it took me two days to find my way out after venturing deeper inside. I was taken ill due to the strong smell of stale petrol, Leather and old engine oil.

Its a true CAVE (not vins) and i had a very interesting chat with the owner, John. So if anyone wants their Citroen repaired he is the guy. Just make sure your have plenty of money and plenty of time as their is a slight que as you can see.

The clutch in my Citroen is on its last legs, so i met up with Ian in London Town and we went to buy one from him. Traffic, what traffic, i am only an HOUR LATE!
I am fitting it over christmas so if the Team are lucky i will start a new thread with photo's of my progress.

The green car i am stood next to is a very special car. It was owned by a certian lord who lives in london but due to "a crash on the golf course" the insurance premium became £99,000 so it was sold and is being restored buy its current owner, a Mr Raisen.

We need to know more! and if that's Mike in the very fetching green shooting jacket in the photos, then we reckon he's been out on some very expensive shooting weekend, somewhere like my old chum Lord Astor?
