Bit better, now durability tests :)
Good work on the electrolytic galvanising but uhm durability test?
Leaving it in the rain for 5 years :D or spraying brine water for some days on it.
Will you do a final coat? e.g. passivate or chromate the galvanised part?
Regards, Joop

I have some sort of yellow chromate
I dipped it in it , but not for long and the chromate should be at about 30degree
So most of it came out with wire brush , there is very little of the yellow left in it and i need to buy some sortvof acid to dip it before galvanising it will improve coating .

Just got myself this wet blaster thing
For 70e to work with my power washer , and i must say I'm positively suprised how well it works.
Wow looks effective. Does it incorporate a grit into the water blast to be that effective ?

Yes the flowing water creates the suction
And sand or crushed glass is sucked in and mixed with water ,
Look up wet blasting on YouTube.
I will also put some videos when i will be blasting my r4 chassis

Loads of goodies arrived this week , my alloys , intake manifold from renault 5 ,
With twin barrel weber carb , at first it was seized , but after night in diesel all the parts are moving , so i will attempt to recondition it.

Finally i got my chassis blasted , the wet blasting does work , but it's too slow and messy, i will still be using it to blast elements wich won't fit in my blasting cabinet.

Seems very nice!

Quick question - I assume the engine is a 1100cc? And that's a dual barrel 32 weber right?

I'm wondering what power gains you can get from that. Had a deal to have one refactored for about 100€ but I passed at the time but now I regret doing that :/
