Good news vwpowered now all you need in the future is a R4 and that newish tow bar looks like it will be a swop fit onto a 4 as well - You've definately hit the jackpot! There's been quite a few R5's on uk ebay lately so there may be a rash of Hennessy 4's here sooner or later but donor early 5's are getting like hens teeth in dear old blighty.

i didnt even think about its 4 heritage until i saw its exhaust out the 5 then remembered..... maybe for you guys i'll call it the Renault 4.5

I like the Mk1 Renault 5s. They are very rare in the UK these days, and less rattly than the Renault 4. A lot of the mechanical parts are interchangeable.
