Seeing the name of another poster reminded me of a rather amusing five minutes yesterday. We were in the carpark of Leroy Merlin (a bit like B & Q - only with a bit more class) in Caen yesterday, and walking back to the van I spotted a big car with a TAXI sign on the roof. I must admit that I do not know much about modern cars, so I thought it was some far eastern import, imagine my surprise when I got close enough to read the badge - BENTLEY!

I got to drive a London Taxi last week - it was very cool, though it was the LTI version rather than the Bentley version. I wasn't allowed to pick up passengers though.

Can you imagine how much taxi fares must be in Caen to allow the Taxi firms to buy Bentleys. LTI one can seat 7, Bentley 4 or 5, so less fare spitting too.
