R 4 later shaft and shorter shocks fitted now:

Hi again it also appears the aforesaid mechanic fitted rear dampers to the front got some new ones from oscaro on line for 56 euros a pair same length as your photo 40cm so once fitted all should be well

As Cyprus Andy asked a while back - on page one of this exploration, Malcolm's old car has an older shock one way up, then a new one the other way up on the same corner of the car.
Does anyone know if the front shocks have a right way up? And if not, which way up connects less (unsprung) weight to the wheel?
