Apparently as you go round a corner, the lights swivel round the corner as well - amazing.

Perfect for the scrappage scheme, but looks a bit familar doesnt it?

Interesting but will never be able to replace the original version. That had swivelling headlights too - I had a DS Safari back in 1971 - beautiful car and way ahead of it's time.
The car in your photo is probably based on a Peugeot floor pan - not the same but I will reserve judgement when/if I see one.

I bet the modern version will swiwel the headlamps with one (or two) simple servo motors.

Do you remember the original DS system?! Including a cable running all the way from the rear suspension to the headlamps to adjust them vertically...amazing French complexity!
