..I have been out and about seeking fame and fortune in Northants this week and would like you to know that this is the Kings Arms pub in Polebrook near Oundle.
Its where my friend Richard prefers to rest his hard working weary elbow on the bar most evenings with a fab pint of Digfield Ale in his other hand.
The pub has fab food, and sells a range of Digfield ales - a local micro brewery run by a very nice man called Mike.
I met Mike on Wednesday evening and he tells me he spends all his waking hours struggling away to make the best ale in England and I told him I was going to get his Brewerys name up in lights..
Could we keep this thread as a place to recommend Pubs and Grub and Ale?
