R4 in the movies again!

The film is Leap Year and I'm informed it isn't worth going to see if you are male, but it's cool to see R4s in moving pictures.

A nice movie. It's a comedy, it's not so bad even if you're a man.
And it's worth seeing it just because of the R4.

There was a similar film called "Laws of attraction" that came out in 2004, starring Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore.

Like Leap Year, it featured americans who come to Ireland and have a romance there, and in both of them, they drive a Renault 4 which they end up crashing.

What I find amazing it that they manage to find original-Irish registered R4s, given that they are now so rare.

Anyway, the films are both romantic comedies, neither of which I would recommend to anyone other than women.
