How come it has a floor gear change? Surley it would have 4 backward speeds and 1 forward as the engine is bum about face?

Thats a Dauphine engine in the back not in the front and the wheels look like 15" not R4 13"

I dunno, I've heard dauphines were terrible rust buckets and given that it was built in 1972 then converted to that in 1977 it could be a demonstration of how bad they were !

i like the dauphine but they were very front light. Ours used to house a 25kg bag of sand under the bonnet
