SORRY VAN SOLD for sale is my 1985 renault f4 van....
it has mot till oct 2010 and tax until end of feb.
it has covered 118.000 km (approx 75,000 miles) the engine however has been replaced with an 1108 cc out of a renault 5 mk1 which had covered 35,000 miles and is a beauty....on internal inspection the oil was super clean and 100% sludge free...all runs very well clutch brakes etc....

the bodywork has dents as is to be expected but many folk comment on its excellent condition and there are no corrosion issues....the underside is super solid as are the rear torsion bar mounts....interior is very clean and benefits from having the rear carpeted....

van is left hand drive and was imported from south of france by previous owner....i used the van as a commuter from yorkshire up to durham when i was blacksmithing and it was super reliable and very cheap to run...the vans have stiffer torsion bars and anti roll bars so handle much sweeter than the saloons

i love these wee vans and the only reason i am selling is i have replaced it with an identical model with super low mileage for a much higher price

i would like £1250 ono please tel mike on leeds 0113 2250084 or 07516071519

r4 van

hi mike
i think you may have bought my wifes yellow r4 tl a few years back - ? you left a note on the windscreen outside headingley train station - if that were you ? - around the time my lovely son rolled that mint condition r4 gtl in white i had got to replace the yellow tl- boy did i make him suffer for that  my wife didnt drive anymore when you bought it - she loved that little car - it was in very good condition when we got it - took it to bits 4 new wings two pack paint job - sealed all the seams - 10 gallon of waxoyle - drilled holes every where - sprayed it in the chassis - globe sunroof - gordini wheels - every body new it round headingley - i think i saw you in your van - did you have gordinis on it ? think we had the yellow about 15 years - still have pictures all over the house of it - i offered malcolm the spare tailgate i kept for it - when ever he calls for it. anyway it still fell to bits in the end i think - ive had allsorts of cars some very expensive - but thats my best car ever - still miss it even more when i see one on the road - - dont tell me what happend to it please - Reg
